Etsy and the animals

Just the other week, I was invited to join The Fabulous Animal Rescue Project (FARP). How it works is, an artist gives FARP permission to use one of their images (artwork) to make buttons and cards and magnets for use in their Etsy shop. My "A while by the window" (below) was chosen as my first entry, but I'll be sending in more stuff soon!

I've not participated in Etsy For Animal's (EFA) montly challenge for a while now, but I thought that for March, I'd make a real and proper effort! The theme for this month was "Sweet shelters & Cozy Comforts... depict 'homes' or things for the home, our or theirs'
A stool may noot look very comfortable but often it seems as though what a cat looks for, mor often than not, is some elevation - even a little helps!
The monthly charity for March hasn't been decided upon yet but here's February's:

The EFA February Charity of the Month is the RSPCA, Queensland (Flood Crisis Appeal) chosen by Nadya of OcelotEyes.
The QLD RSPCA is one of Queensland's foremost organisations doing life-saving work for our animals - both pets, and wildlife - as well as community initiatives to raise awareness of the plight of animals. In the recent flood disaster which has affected so much of the state of Queensland, Australia, several animal shelters were damaged and their main shelter in Fairfield, Brisbane, QLD, was completely flooded. All the animals were placed in foster care, but now the RSPCA has to re-build their shelter. The charity does not receive government funding to recover from the disaster, and depends on kind-hearted people and volunteers. Let's help the QLD RSPCA as our February Charity of the Month!

  1. That is a great charity and a wonderful painting. I love her dress and the expression on the cat.
